This week I've been playing with "no flash" photography. I find it tricky (at least with my camera because the shutter stays open longer, so if the subject moves, the picture is blurred), but rewarding when you get a shot that you like. I know a lot of my friend photographers really like shooting with natural light only, and I am beginning to understand why.
I love using natural light and rarely use my flash. Love the "halo" of light on his head :-)

ReplyDeleteTry renting a faster lens and no flash won't be as challenging. Kit lenses are notoriously slow. I never shoot with flash. But I also never take pictures at night because of it. I love that you are trying new things.
